Presently the Director Medical Services for the Cloudnine group of hospitals, he has been in been in practice from the past 32 years. After completing his MBBS from the University of Madras, he went abroad to broaden his horizons. He was a part of American Board of Pediatrics and then became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Pediatrics in the UK. He has published numerous research articles in reputed medical journals, penned a chapter for a book and given scientific talks in prestigious conferences in India, USA, and Canada. He has also been instrumental in saving many lives by donating medical equipment to government and underfunded missionary hospitals.In this TEDx talk Dr.Arvind talks about what goes on inside a doctor's brain in making those life-changing decisions for their patients, the moral dilemma that arises and the qualities that attribute to making a credible doctor.
